TIRANA, Jan. 3 – Albania enjoys a new visa regulations beginning this year.
New, less strict visa regulations between the European Union and Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia went into effect on January 2. Croatia does not have a visa regime with the EU. The agreements would be valid for all EU member states, with the exception of Denmark, UK and Ireland, as well as the nine new Schengen countries.
It should be noted, however, that not everything is clear about the new process. Albanians have not yet been informed about the proper documentation they need to request a visa.
