Credit deceivers arrested in Tirana

TIRANA, Jan. 30 – Police reported Wednesday they had arrested eight persons who deceived different persons as if they were able to arrange loans, credits to them.
The codenamed operation Bad Credit put under arrest Taip ȥlaj, 26, a bank employee resident in Tirana, Sotiraq Vito, 42, resident in Berat, Mahmut Barziu, 40, in Tirana, Selman Mici, 44, also in Tirana, and four persons in Elbasan _ Arben Beqiri, 40, Astrit Graceni, 66, Luan Gjika, 47, and Blendi Sharra, 32.
They were accused of abuse of post, deceit, falsifying documents and illegal border crossing.
In collaboration with each other they gave credits to different persons around the country in considerable amounts. The bank’s name as not made available.
They also used fake documents when offering false visas.
