New army top secret policeman nominated

TIRANA, June 10 – Maj. Ylli Zyla was nominated by the government in the post of the head of the military secret service that has been left vacant since the Gerdec March 15 blast that killed 26 and injured some 200 persons.
Zyla’s predecessor was fired from the post as considered one of the persons to blame for not preventing the tragedy. Prime Minister Sali Berisha has repeatedly blamed all law enforcement institutions in the country for not preventing the catastrophe. (Tirana Times Staff)
