TIRANA, June 22 – Albanian Deputy Interior Minister Gent Strazimiri and top police official Ahmet Prenci met last week with the Council of Europe delegation on preventing torture which is visiting the country to monitor implementation of its recommendations made during their first visit two years ago.
The Albanian officials presented the foreign delegation their work on recognizing human rights concerns among the nation’s police. (Tirana Times Staff)
