Albania complains of its citizens’ treatment in Greece

TIRANA, Sep 1 – Last week, the Greek media published a photo of seven Albanian immigrants, under arrest in Greece and being transported in a small truck during very hot weather.
Following the reports, Albanian ambassador to Athens, Vili Minarolli, requested explanations from the Foreign and Interior Ministries, while Greek authorities began preparing an indictment against the top policeman in Larissa where the event occurred.
Minarolli said, after the meetings, he was guaranteed by Greek authorities that the incident would not be repeated.
