Luxembourg premier supports Albania’s NATOP membership

TIRANA, Sep 25 – Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker was on a one-day visit to Albania to meet with all top officials in the country.
Meeting with Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Juncker said that his country was fully supporting Tirana’s efforts to become a full NATO member.
He also expressed his support to the country’s integration efforts into the European Union.
The two heads of government discussed bilateral relations, technical assistance and major issues affecting the EU today. They also discussed on the Balkans and the current situation in the Southern Caucuses.
Juncker was accompanied by the Minister for Health and Social Security, Mars Di Bartolomeo.
