TIRANA, Oct 28 – The power corporation announced that capital Tirana and some other cities will suffer regular power cuts for five days due to repairing work in the distribution system.
The power cuts will be in separate areas from 6 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.
The other districts are that of Durres, Shijak, Kavaja, Rrogozhina, Lushnja, Fieri, Vlora, Berat and Saranda.
Meanwhile the country continues to export 125 MW/h of power to neighboring Kosova.
That is supported by the favorable weather conditions at the Drini River cascade which produces the main bulk of electricity in the country.
Only half of the engines on the hydropower plants in the Drini River are working at the moment.
