ELBASAN, Dec 16 – Eight officials of the power corporation, or KESH, were arrested in the central city of Elbasan for corruptive methods and abuse of post in the issuing of tenders held from 2004-2007 and costing tens of millions of leks.
Another former senior official is also wanted, but has not been found.
Those arrested had been members of the commission evaluating the offers for power distribution in their area.
