TIRANA, Aug 5 – Three fires broke out this week in different districts.
A fire in Dragu village in northern Bulqiza district broke out near a pine forest. Due to the lack of a proper road firefighters found it hard to put it under control for more than a day.
Another fire broke out in Mamez-Kalimash commune in northeastern Kukes district. Local firefighters were assisted by farmers to put it under control.
A third fire broke out in Kushovica mountain in central-eastern Gramshi district. It has been breaking out in different spots in the last two months with firefighters unable to put out the fire in the area due to the rough roads.
