TIRANA, Sep 16 – Albanian President Bamir Topi called Turkish President Abdullah Gul to ask him about the flood that caused some deaths and much damage.
Torrential rains also triggered floods in Turkey, causing at least one bridge to collapse and inundating dozens of homes in Istanbul.
Topi and Gul discussed also on the excellent bilateral relations and also on the situation in the Balkans.
Topi expressed his condolences to the dead and missing people due to the floods in Turkey.
Gul is expected to come to visit Albania December 9-10, 2009, after first being planned for early 2010.
