Football player crashed to death in Italy

TIRANA, Sep 22 – A 20 year old Albanian footballer in Italy was crashed last Saturday to death by a car in his residence town.
Brian Filipi was walking with an Italian friend in his city of Ravena (He plays with Ravena in Serie C football championship) when a car driven from a 52-year old businesswoman crashed on them taking him to death and seriously injuring his friend .
Ravena’s match of that week was postponed.
Filipi had played 23 games for Ravena and has scored five times, attracting the attention of many other top Italian football clubs. He was also a member of the Albanian under 21 national team.
His family said that he would be buried in his hometown back home.
