TIRANA, Oct 26 – Albania’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilir Meta, and Chinese Ambassador in Albania, Wang Junglin, discussed the traditional friendly relations between the two countries, the deepening of the economic cooperation and the upcoming visit of Chinese Vice Prime Minister in Tirana.
The visit of the Chinese vice premier in Tirana is held on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Chinese-Albanian relations as a clear indication of the traditional and promising friendship that exists between the two countries.
Ambassador Junglin conveyed to Meta the warm greetings of the Chinese Foreign Minister and expressed his appreciation that the Chinese-Albanian relationship has witnessed a great development in recent years.
He also assured his country’s willingness to further deepen the friendly and economic relations.
Meta praised the consolidated phase of the bilateral relations and expressed the wish of the Albanian government for the further concrete cooperation in all fields, particularly in terms of economic cooperation
Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang is this week on an official visit to Ukraine, Albania and Estonia.
