Extradition from Italy

TIRANA, Jan. 5 – An Albanian was extradited to his homeland at the end of last year where he is to serve his 13 years imprisonment for murder.
Gjergj Mark Biba, 42, from Lezha was extradited from Rome, Italy. He had been sentenced to 13 years imprisonment in 1993 for murdering in that year a neighbor in a conflict over the ownership of a property.
In anarchic year of 1997 Biba left the prison after serving 7.5 years. He was arrested in Italy last March and waited for the extradition procedures to be taken back by the Albanian authorities
