TIRANA, Jan. 20 – The offices and other parts of the building run from Top Channel private television station downtown capital Tirana were attacked and robbed overnight causing significant damage.
The television station launched a penal case after which the prosecutor office and police made all the proper initial investigation at the building near Ekspozita Shqiptare.
The media station wants the responsible people be found and taken to the court as they had caused considerable damage and also threatened the lives of the working staff.
The violent action had occurred some days ago and the media station complained of the delayed intervention from police and other public authorities
Top Channel has been renting the building since five years investing some 600 million leks for its rehabilitation in a 20-year contract. Some 220 persons are employed in the building.
