Kuwaiti Speaker Al-Kharafi visits Albania

TIRANA, Oct. 6 – Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi will visit Albania Thursday along a regional tour that takes him to Serbia and also Kosovo.
He will hold talks with all top leaders in the country to discuss about bilateral ties and future prospects of their development.
The two countries to discuss greater cooperation and coordination on a host of issues.
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Albania Najib Abdelrahman Al-Bader reported that he received assurances from Albanian Parliament Speaker Josefina Topalli in a recent meeting at Parliament that the newly-opened Kuwait Embassy in Tirana will receive full support pursuant to the two countries’ aspirations to forge closer ties.
Among the issues expected to be raised during Al-Kharafi’s visit are implementation of agreements and memoranda of understanding signed by the two countries, in addition to parliamentary, political, and economic affairs.
