TIRANA, Sept. 7 – Albania’s fuel prices, currently higher than some of Europe’s wealthiest countries, are expected to undergo another increase in the next few weeks as local government units have undertaken campaigns, warning companies of penalties unless they pay the new higher license fees . The municipalities of Tirana and Elbasan have warned that petrol stations not paying the new license fees in the next few weeks will be closed down.
