TIRANA, July 27 – Erison Peraj, the 9-year-old child that was injured from the fall of the bus ten days ago, passed away Monday evening at the military hospital in capital Tirana.
Four children who remained orphans due to the road accident will be taken to be taken care at the SOS village in Tirana.
Fourteen people died and 12 others were injured, many of them seriously, July 17 when a bus fell off a cliff.
Police said a sudden loss of control from the driver was the cause of the accident
The bus fell 30 to 40 meters off a cliff in Dom Gjegjan village, in the district of Puka. The injured were brought to hospitals in the Albanian capital, Tirana, and the northern city of Shkodra.
The government has declared Sunday a day of national mourning, when flags flied at half-mast.
