TIRANA, May 13 – The government is making strenuous efforts to check all the imported cooking oil coming from Greece fearing it may be mixed with dioxin and coming from Ukraine. Agriculture and Food Minister Jemin Gjana was asked to take all the precautions if there had already come such a cooking oil and to take it off the market. Everything started earlier this month after Greece blocked a truck with some tons of such an oil destined for Albania. It was coming from Ukraine. It is believed two loads of such an imported oil has already entered Albania. (Tirana Times Staff)
