TIRANA, Sep 29 – Albanian Justice and Interior minister visited Kosova in an effort to increase cooperation of both countries in these areas.
The two ministers met with Kosova’s top officials.
Kosova Prime Minister Hashim Tha詠met with Justice Minister Enkelejd Alibeaj after he met with Kosovar Justice Minister Nekibe Kelmendi to discuss the results of a cooperation agreement between the two countries in the field of fighting organized crime, corruption and human trafficking.
Tha詠said that reforms and positive experiences from Albania will be transferred to Kosova in all institutional segments.
“This cooperation is happening in the domain of national integration, but also euro-Atlantic integration, where as it is known, Kosova as a state, and Albania as a state will be part of EU and NATO,” said Tha詮
Albania’s Interior Minister Bujar Nishani also visited Prishtina where he also signed a cooperation agreement with his Kosovar counterpart Zenun Pajaziti in the field of national security.
the two interior ministers said that their cooperation had resulted in positive consequences in the fight against organized crime.
Some criminal groups trafficking weapons have been hit by police in both countries.
Nishani also met with Thaci.
