TIRANA, April 13 – Albania decided Tuesday to scrap temporary visas for Serbian citizens, aiming to attract more tourists for the summer season from the country.
That move was made primarily for the ethnic Albanians living in southern Serbian regions of Preshevo and Bujanovac.
At the same time the Foreign Ministry said that move was part of the steps the country is taking to include the regional neighboring countries into the White List as part of the move toward the visa-free regime with EU member countries.
Albania expects to achieve that visa-free regime this summer, something which Serbia had achieved last year.
