Albania, Montenegro to build a joint border crossing point

TIRANA, Jan. 17 – Albania and Montenegro signed Wednesday an agreement to build a joint border crossing point in Muriqan-Sukobine. The signing ceremony was held in Ulqin, in Montenegro. Such a crossing point is the first of its kind in the Balkan region. Any person crossing that will not need to present the documents in two places of the two separate countries. There will be a mixed team that will check the documentation in order to reduce the time spent there. It is expected that the new crossing will become operational during the first months next year. The construction will cost two million Euro.
