Albania shares India’s sense of outrage over Mumbai attacks

New Delhi, Dec 20 – Albanian Foreign Minister Lulzim Basha said his country fully shared India’s outrage at the Mumbai attacks and considered terrorism as a common challenge for the international community.
Basha, who was on a three-day visit to India, held discussion with Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee on enhancement of bilateral relations in diverse fields and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The visit of the Albanian Foreign Minister, who was accompanied by senior officials and a business delegation, was the first ever visit by a Foreign Minister from either side.
Albania also inaugurated the opening of its embassy there. India would open its own embassy in Albania next year.
During the visit Basha also met with local businessmen urging them to come and invest in his tiny Balkan country.
Basha also visited Mother Teresa’s Memorial and its offices.
