Albanian journalists express condolences for the death of Croat colleague

TIRANA, Oct 27 – The Albanian Journalists Union media organization expressed its condolences for the death of the Croatian journalist Ivo Pukanic and his aide Niko Franjic considering that a terrorist act.
“Such a terrorist act against a high-profile journalist marks a direct attack from crime against all courageous journalists in the Balkan region,” said a statement.
Ivo Pukanic, 47 and the owner and editor-in-chief of Croatia’s No. 2 political weekly, Nacional, was killed by an explosive device planted near his car in downtown Zagreb together with his aide.
