Albanian police strengthen ties with Croatian counterparts

TIRANA, Aug 25 – Top Albanian policeman, Ahmet Prenci, held a four-day visit to Zagreb, Croatia to meet with his Croatian counterpart, Marjan Benko, and other top Croatian officials.
During the visit, Prenci talked about further strengthening their future cooperation. Both countries have been invited to become full NATO members, likely next year, and also hope to become European Union members, though they are at different stages in the membership process. (Tirana Times Staff)
