TIRANA, July 16 – Following a series of fires around the country, police intensified work to arrest a number of persons who set fire in forests and other places to clear them for use as pastures.
Two persons in Vlora and two in Fier were arrested and charged with setting fires, a charge that carries a sentence of up to 10 years imprisonment if found guilty.
Other persons were also included during the investigation.
