Albanians praise Biden’s nomination as Obama’s deputy

TIRANA, Aug 24 – The Albanian press praised the nomination of Joseph Biden as vice president to run with Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Senator Biden, 65, has been well-known among Albanians as a strong supporter of Kosova’s independence.
Biden, chosen by Obama only a few days ago, is head of the Senate’s committee on foreign policy and has often initiated activities in support of Kosova. (Tirana Times Staff)
