TIRANA, Nov 3 – Fredi Aliaj was arrested in The Netherlands and is to be extradited to Albania to serve his prison term for the murder of an Albanian. He was previously sentenced to 23 years imprisonment for murdering Robert Mitro.
Sokol Aliaj was also arrested at the time. He was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for murder.
In Italy, Alban Lika, 35, was arrested for a 1999 killing. He has been sentenced to 17 years imprisonment for that crime.
Albania will seek to extradite these prisoners.
