ELBASAN, May 31 – Esma Xibraku, 45, was murdered last weekend in the village of Shales, Belesh.
She was attacked by a neighbor with an iron bar and hit in the head.
Antoneta Hysa, 50, was arrested later and has been accused of the murder. An automatic rifle was also found at her house.
It is believed that Hysa took a revenge act after her father had been killed a few years ago by Xibraku’s close family member.
Hysa’s husband was also arrested for the illegal weapon possession.
Last weekend, also in central Elbasan district, Gezim Alikaj, 52, was injured in his car also believed for revenge purposes.
In a few hours police managed to arrest three persons who are believed to be the authors of the incident.
