TIRANA, Nov 9 – The investigation of the alleged abuse of pubic money for the Durres-Kukes -Morini road segment will continue for another month.
That was the decision of the prosecutor’s office postponing the timing of prosecutors investigating the case against Armand Teliti, Lejla Saraci and Andi Toma, all former officials of the transport ministry who are being investigated of abusing with the money.
The road segment is to cost 1.023 billion Euros, a big figure for the poor Albania.
It also involves Foreign Minister Lulzim Basha, then minister of transports, who has also been lifted of his parliamentary immunity.
The three former officials complained of the postponement of investigation asking that the case be sent to the court.
