TIRANA, July 21 – Prime Minister Sali Berisha received a letter of congratulations for the June 28 parliament election victory from Josef Proell, the chairman of the Austrian People’s Party.
“Allow me to congratulate you on your success at the last Parliamentary elections that strongly confirmed the political leadership of the Democratic Party and the constant support of the Albanian voters for your policy and devotion in consolidation of the European perspective of your country,” wrote Proell.
“I wish you all the best in your new mandate and successes in forming a strong and reliable government which will implement the necessary reforms toward further well-being and security, to the best benefit of the Albanian citizens.”
