TIRANA, Sep. 18 – Prime Minister Sali Berisha attended the summit of the European People’s Party (EPP) held in Brussels last week, during which he also held several meetings with other leaders attending the summit and discussed visa liberalization for Albania.
Berisha said the meeting discussed EU issues like the strategic partnership with several countries, economic problems and other issues.
“I believe there is a good understanding about this vital problem for the Albanians,” he said referring to the visa-free regime which Albanians are expecting to enjoy by the end of the year.
Berisha also said EU membership remained “the most vital interest of Albanians.”
