TIRANA, Jan. 6 – The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tirana and other business offered their assistance to the government and common people in northwestern Albania to overcome the consequences of the flooding over recent days.
Prime Minister Sali Berisha also thanked some companies that had offered assistance in Lezha and Shkodra in rehabilitating the protection walls at the Drini River delta.
The Chamber of commerce called on all the companies to offer assistance to the people of the flooded areas.
“For each individual it would have been an impossible cost but united together we may offer a solution and assistance to the residents of these areas,” said a statement.
