TIRANA, Jan 13 – Cold weather and snowstorms, mainly in the north and east of the country, continue to create many problems in driving and also have isolated many communes.
Temperatures have reached -20 degrees Celsius in northern Kukes.
Many national roads continue to be blocked in separate parts while tens of communes are fully blocked with no direct link but by air to the nearest towns.
Cold weather has also caused problems in the water supply for these areas after the distribution network was damaged.
