VLORA, April 13 – The Vlora district court sentenced Kastriot Jaupi, 33, to life imprisonment for the murder of a top police officer, Ilir Ngresi, in 2000.
Jaupi was arrested in Spain in 2008 and was later extradited to Albania.
Jaupi was also accused of some other charges of murder and injury.
