VLORA, March 20 – The Interior Ministry reported last week they had arrested three policemen in the southwestern port city of Vlora accusing them of corruption.
Musa Hysen Nushi, 59, ȯbo Nuro Sakaj, 55, and Muhamet Hatem Sulejmani, 43, served as officials checking the guarding of blocked vehicles.
During the service they were exposed by the ministry’s internal intelligence of abusing the post through stealing spare parts of the blocked cars.
In another operation at the international airport of Rinasi two other border policemen were arrested for helping people pass large amounts of clothes that were later to be sold without paying the proper taxes.
