TIRANA, Nov 24 – A delegation of the Czech police is holding a week-long visit to Tirana to meet with local top officials and also increase cooperation of Albanian law enforcement institutions with those of Europe and further.
Eighteen experts of the fight against organized crime, drug, cybernetic crime, terrorism, Interpol, Europol, corruption, economic crime, car theft and crisis management will hold a visit until Nov. 27.
Their visit will serve well the reforms launched from the Albanian police, especially the steps taken to achieve the requirements for the EU visa-free regime.
Fighting drug and human traffic remain top priorities for the tiny Balkan country, which serves as a transit point and for some of their issues also as a country of origin.
