TIRANA, June 28 – Albania’s Democratic Party has become a member of the International Democratic Union, a group of the centre-right political parties in the world. This occurred at the Union’s meeting held in Paris, where the Democrats’ leader, Sali Berisha, also met with many international personalities, including French President Nicolas Sarkozy, former Australian premier John Howard and others.
