Doctors to have work contracts

TIRANA, Sep 23 – Health Minister Anila Godo said that all doctors would have to sign work contracts in order to keep them at the jobs in the remote areas.
Speaking to the parliament for the first time since she took the post in late July Godo spoke of the bad situation of the hospitals, where, besides others, they also lack the proper specialized doctors.
Godo said that as a first step the ministry would sign contracts with all doctors to be taken to other districts, adding she would also try to convince the premier to increase their salary.
the minister also said the hospitals in other districts lack proper medicine which she said would be repaired in the next 90 days.
