Draft law sets heavy payment for health insurance

TIRANA, Feb. 5 – Government has passed a draft law that doubles the amount of money that each individual has to pay for health insurance from 3.4 percent to 7.5 percent of the salary.
Half of that amount will be paid by the employer and half from the employee.
For the unemployed or self-employed persons that will be based on the minimal payment.
