ELBASAN, VLORA, SHKODRA, Oct 12 – Artur Doka, 44, was arrested as a suspect of trafficking drugs.
Doka was declared wanted from the Tirana court since last May for producing drugs.
In another operation police found 115 kilograms of hashish at a five-meter speedboat at Karaburun peninsula.
Albanian police were told by their Italian counterparts of the Guardia di Finanza that there was a speedboat in Karaburun which they had followed.
The three persons driving the boat managed to escape after abandoning it.
It is believed the drugs were destined to be taken to Italy.
In northern Shkodra police arrested three persons for producing and selling drugs.
Shpetim Guri, 34, a policeman, together with Ndricim Fikaj, 34, and Fatjo Kurtaj, 26, were arrested after a three-month investigation.
