TIRANA, Feb. 15 – Tirana police reported they had arrested four persons for allegedly trafficking drugs.
Police said they found two kilograms of marijuana, a pistol, and a shotgun when they arrested four persons: Emiljano Qamil Ko誵, 20, Oriol Selami Memushi, 22, Erlin Perparim Hasani, 20, and Evri Luan Topi, 19, following a two-month long investigation.
Police are investigating whether other persons are invovled in the illegal activity.
Fighting drug trafficking remains a top priority for the Albanian police along with the country’s efforts to further integrate with the European Union.
