Estonia pledges help in digitalization systems

TIRANA, March 14 – Prime Minister Sali Berisha met with Estonian Justice Minister Rein Lang who was on a visit to Albania where he also met with his host counterpart Bujar Nishani.
Lang said his was willing to make a contribution to the digitalization of the immovable property registration system and the necessary networks which facilitates access of the public.
The two countries may sign an agreement about setting up a common Task Force for getting experience from Estonia in this field.
Berisha expressed thanks for Estonia’s promised support to Albania in the field of digitalization of the immovable property registration system and considered rather important its experience in the field of IT while considering that a worthy contribution for Albania.
Berisha also informed Lang about the progress Albania was making in the improvement of the online services and the commitments that the government has taken for budget increase and investments in the field of information technology. Berisha said he has involved all resources for the completion of that process within a brief period of time.
Albania will soon open its embassy in Estonia.
Berisha urged Estonian business to come and invest in Albania where they will find a favorable climate and guarantees that Albania offers for businesses. Albania is a country of great potential in the field of tourism and energy and also has a favorable labor market, he said.
