Explosion at oil well asphyxiates residents

FIER, Sep 1 – An explosion at an oil well in Zharrez village in Fier district caused scores of residents to be treated at hospitals after breathing in noxious fumes.
It was not clear what the reason for the explosion was, though many believed a lack of proper technical care from employees resulted in the accident.
Many hours were needed to bring the fire under control as it threatened many houses nearby and also other oil wells.
