TIRANA, March 8 – Police arrested two men, 28 and 38 years old, in capital Tirana and accused them of illegally producing explosives that have allegedly been used in some murders.
Police found a small manufacturing place where they produced the mines with a remote control from a cell phone. That was found at his apartment in one of the capital’s main streets.
Police also found two pistols and some ammunition. They also found three kilograms of explosive and other equipment used to detonate them, including many cell phones.
They are considered as suspects and part of some murders held in the city.
Police said they have cooperated with some other persons, whose identities were kept secret due to the on-going investigation.
They are accused of murder and illegal traffic of weapons and ammunition.
One of them was later released from police.
