Facebook puts car thieves under shackles

TIRANA, Jan. 20 – Police arrested three persons and declared wanted a fourth one accusing them of stealing cars in capital Tirana.
The tools police used to discover them was Facebook they used to communicate with each other.
The operation codenamed Heshtja (Silence) had been continuing for some months during which police officers were closely following contacts that the four persons kept with each other in their Facebook and Yahoo profiles .
The group usually had stolen Mercedes cars which they immediately sent out of the capital .
They are accused of at least seven thefts and are suspects of many others.
