LEZHA, Jan. 13 – Police in the northern town of Lezha arrested five people who are suspected of organizing the failed trafficking of over 33 people to Italy by speed boat.
The boat departed from Lezha Thursday evening, but was forced to return after being spotted by an Italian coast patrol near Puglia.
The police also seized seven cars and two speed boats from those arrested.
