TIRANA, Jan. 5 – Kathleen Poer is more likely to say, “Home is where you lay your hat.” She is a global traveler landing all around the globe, including Albania.
Since earning a trip to study at Oxford, England, in 1982-83, the Durango native has taken up opportunity after opportunity to spend time abroad. She has studied in India and worked in locales as varied as Russia, Albania, Egypt, Jordan and most of the Central Asian republics Šthe list goes on.
She just likes to explore other places and cultures.
