GOLF PRACTICE CENTER IN TIRANA

A new leisure attraction affordable to anyone is now possible for the inhabitants of Tirana and its surroundings. In IBE, 15 km east of Tirana, next to the “Ujvara Resort” and amidst splendid nature golf fans can find the first Golf Practice Center in Albania, where they can practice or learn this fancy sport.
The first Golf Driving Range is located near one of the springs of Erzen river and within walking distance to “Shpella e P쭬umbit” (Pigeon’s Cave). The Center offers the proper logistics even for amateurs. After developing the basics golf skills they will be guided to procure the proper golf equipment according to their specifics. For players who do not like it easy and want to experience a complete game, to reach the 18 holes and at the same time to measure the precision of their shoots, a Virtual Golf field is installed just near the Driving Range. And after a tiring golf session, a small, wooden and carefully decorated “Club House” is the place to relax and to enjoy the rest of the day.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own refreshments, but if not, delicious local products are offered by the farmers.
Golf Pro Senad Luka覶i笠a golf expert qualified in the USA and Marin Harxhi, his co-worker as well as co-owner say, “Our permanent customers have been insofar the foreigners living in Albania. Also, a group of Albanian sport lovers who admire the golf world championships but had not the chance to try to hit that “tiny ball” here in Albania are now showing interest to learn to play golf. Some Albanian parents as well are eager for their children to learn to play this wonderful game. Golf is a sport that can be learned and practiced only in the Driving Range and in the Virtual Golf. According to the recent statistics published by CNN, 90 % of international golf players actually play in these kinds of centers. The Albanian Tennis Federation recently paid a visit to our center and we noticed that many of the young tennis players adopted themselves quickly to the golf swing and we also hope that in a near future an Albanian golf team will represent Albania in different tournaments of the Region”.
Mr. Luka覶i硡nd Mr. Harxhi are convinced that the valley of Erzen is the right place to build the first “golf pitch and putt” which is the fastest growing type of golf in Europe. Considering that this is currently happening now in Albania they feel that their mission is in the process of being recognized and appreciated.
The Center is opened 7 days a week, from 9 am to 8 pm.
