TIRANA, Feb. 15 – Heavy snow and rain have caused damage and temporarily blocked areas especially in the eastern part of the country.
Heavy snow over the weekend blocked many remote areas in the northeastern districts of Kruja, Dibra and Tropoja but also in southeast in Korca and Kolonja districts.
At the same time authorities said that a river in the western district of Fier had flooded many areas and was threatening more.
Authorities did not report any victims lost due to the rough weather.
