TIRANA, March 29 – The Universal Hospital Tirana reported that Iranian Ambassador Ali Amouie underwent a medical procedure followed by by-pass surgery late last Friday evening following a major heart attack.
Following surgery, the Ambassador recovered for three and a half days in the Intensive Care Unit before being transferred to one of UHT’s private rooms.

The newly appointed ambassador arrived in Tirana only two days before his hospitalization.
